When Dan was a designer at the National Gallery of Art, one of his favorite staff traditions was, "10 O'Clock Tea", where staff members would visit the Terrace Cafe. Dan felt the classic grammar of this piece would be fitting in a space like the gallery but could also compliment a variety of environments. Dan hand turns each of these pendants from solid walnut and maple in his Maryland workshop. The interior and exterior can be different colors.
Note: Because these items are handmade, each is unique. There will be variations in the wood grain, dye patterns and slight variations in shape. Colors may vary by computer monitor.
Each lamp is produced using sustainable domestic hardwoods, non-toxic dyes and most packaging materials are 100% biodegradable.
